Stinkin' Teeth
Graham is teething. He's two months old and he is teething! I guess I shouldn't be too surprised because Stella had teeth at 3 months old, but her teeth didn't bother her. Poor Graham is not too happy about his up and coming pearly whites. I guess it also doesn't help that his dad had teeth at 3 months and that his freakish mom was born with teeth.
Stella keeps telling him, "It's okay buddy." That's her favorite nickname for him. She calls him buddy all the time. It's very cute. Even cuter...last night she told Aaron "Good night, stinky. I love you, stinky!" She's so stinkin' cute!

Punkman Bieber
Stella wanted to listen to "Punkman Bieber" tonight. Punkman Bieber? Then I realized she was really saying Pacman Fever. I love that my daughter has taken an interest in the 80s and inadvertently given Justin Bieber a new nickname at the same time.

Mad Man (and Lady)
Like sister, like Don Draper. I think I watched way too much Mad Men during both of my pregnancies. If only they were both holding a scotch on the rocks.

Well Helloooo
Graham Michael Horvath is finally here. This little guy made his debut on August 23rd at 11:15 am. He weighed in at 8 pounds and 3 ounces and was 22.5 inches long. After a little stay in the hospital he is finally home and gained a pound in one week! We are so happy he is here!

For Granny Goose
This post is for my Grandmother aka Granny Goose. She's been disappointed in the lack of my posts. Here is something to tide her over until I a) get more energy or b) give birth.

The Coop
Stella and I had a great day at The Coop in Studio City. It's a great modern play space complete with a coffee bar for parents! Stella's favorite part was the ball pit, the light up dance floor and the teepee. My favorite part was watching her have so much fun!

I Am Your Robot Friend
Halloween came a little early in the Horvath house. Stella got her Plex costume! She won't take it off. It's official. Stella thinks she's a robot!

Hair!
One of the things I never get to do anymore is dry my hair. I know that may seem a bit vain, but sometimes I miss taking the extra 10 minutes in the morning to dry my hair and feel a little spiffy. I usually end up with wet hair that is eventually pulled into a ponytail and feel like a wet dog. But yesterday, joy of joys, I got to dry my hair and I felt like a million bucks. Stella and I were outside drawing on the sidewalk and she started playing with my hair and then said, "Mommy hert purdy." <Mommy's hair is pretty> It was so nice that she noticed.

Reason #678 Why I Love My Husband
Stella was watching Elmo on the iPad and Aaron asked me why Mark Ruffalo looked so weird. I told him it was because he was Andrea Bocelli.

Gag Me With A Finger
Did my daughter really wake up from her nap with a full orange beard? Nope. It's just puke. I will never look at Goldfish the same way.
I don't think she's sick. She finds it amusing to shove her fingers in her mouth and gag herself. Now she knows that when she does that she throws up. Lesson learned. And here's a little proof that she was feeling better after her bath...

Robbing the Cradle
Sometimes Stella does a funny walk that reminds me of George Jefferson...you know from The Jeffersons? My husband had NO IDEA what I was talking about. I guess I really did rob the cradle.

Baff Idea
Aaron and I saw this commercial the other day for Squishy Baff and both had the same feeling....eww!
I can't imagine how many chemicals are in this. I think we'll stick to our bubble baffs.

Shake, Rattle and Roll
Last night Graham was moving like a maniac...then I realized it was an earthquake. Just one of the fun perks of having a California baby! Graham moves around a lot and then this morning I realized it must be genetic.

Mom Mobile
Since it's Memorial Day and are family is growing we decided to get a new car this weekend. We spent all day yesterday wheeling and dealing and when all was said and done I got my new Mom Mobile...a silver 2012 Ford Edge! I feel like Batman cruising the streets in my Mom Mobile, but instead of Robin for a sidekick I have Stella. And instead of fighting crime we will now fight traffic in search of daily adventures!

TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD
We have a crazed bird that sits outside Stella's window and sings ALL NIGHT LONG...not the Lionel Richie song, but literally all night long. We also might have mold in our closet. Now if I could just get the bird to eat the mold in the closet I could kill two birds with one stone. Technically I'd just be killing the one bird and I'd feel terrible, but at least we could start sleeping again. I won't sleep (because I can't) until it's gone. When I've figured out how to get rid of it I'll write a book called To Kill A Mockingbird.

The Sweetest Thing
Tonight before Aaron and I put Stella to bed she said, "Night, night." Then whispered "Happy." She is the sweetest little girl!

Stella Wars
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...a little girl refused to eat her dinner.
"Do you want pasta," her mother asked. "Yes!" the little girl happily replied. But when it was time to eat the pasta the little girl said, "No."
"Do you want a banana?" her patient mother asked. "Yes!" the little girl happily replied. But when it was time to eat the banana the little girl said, "No."
This little tit for tat went on with Cheerios, grapes, peaches, pretzels, chips, and pizza. Finally the mother threw her hands up and asked the little girl, "What do you want?" The little girl happily replied, "Robots!"
So the mother got out her iPad and went on YouTube and found some robots for the little girl to watch. The little girl fell in love with the following clip that she lovingly refers to as "Maaaany Robots!" and watched it over 50 times while happily eating some chicken tenders.

Funday
Today Stella and I enjoyed a nice overcast day in the park. There was hardly anyone there. People in Los Angeles are like the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz...they are afraid of melting at even the thought of rain. It didn't scare off Stella and me. We had a great time!

I feel huge. This baby feels so much lower than Stella. I really hope my baby boy weighs 30 pounds.

Sneak Peak of Baby's Room
Stella is getting a big girl bed soon so that her little brother (we find out for sure on Tuesday) can use her crib. So we've been moving furniture and repurposing things to get ready for his arrival. Here's a sneak peak of some artwork we found on Etsy from Sycamore Street Press...

Book Worm
Before her nap today Stella decided she wanted to take the book If You Give a Mouse a Cookie to bed with her. Stella loves this book and likes to read it before bedtime and pretend to eat the cookie. I peaked in on her and she was tightly hugging the book. I hope this means she'll grow up to be a book worm and that it doesn't mean that she was so hungry that she thought the pretend cookie would fill her up.

Higher Learning, Higher Earning
Thanks to my college degree, which included a class in stagecraft, I am very capable of putting together Ikea furniture. However, I long for the day my college degree affords me furniture I don't have to put together myself.

Thar She Blows
A man at Trader Joe's said, "Wow, you're really pregnant. You must be due in two months." I politely said, "No. More like 5 months." To which he said, "Wow you are BIG. Must be twins." I really wanted to say, "You want to meet my twins?" and then take both my fists and punch him in the balls. For someone who seemed to be the authority on a woman's body I'm pretty sure he hasn't seen a vagina in about 25 years.

Stella is a Beiliber
Stella went shopping for her new spring wardrobe today at H&M and heard a very popular song. She couldn't stop singing and dancing to it...until the rapping started.

Walk Like the Animals?
Yesterday at the zoo Stella saw a giraffe poop on the ground. Last night after her bath Stella put on her hooded giraffe towel and pooped on the ground. I think she learned a lot yesterday.
